Matt Jones
President
Matt Jones brings 20 years of multi-disciplined management to CloudShield Technologies
from the communications, networking, and storage industries. He joins CloudShield
after most recently serving as CEO of Allocity. Allocity provided application
specific storage management software for managing Microsoft Exchange databases.
Allocity was sold to EMC in 2004. Prior to Allocity, Matt was COO of Excite@Home
and CEO of Lipstream Networks, a Voice over IP company. Before Lipstream, Matt
worked for Sprint for 13 years, where he held several executive positions, including
VP of National Sales for Sprint PCS, SVP and General Manager for Sprint Canada, and
Chief of Staff. He started his career at AT&T.
Matt received his bachelor's degree from Miami University and his MBA from the University of Michigan.

Peder Jungck
Founder / CTO
Peder is a networking industry visionary, IT executive and entrepreneur who has pioneered high-speed content-based
networking and security systems to meet the needs of government, carriers, and large enterprises. During
a career that spans more than 20 years, Peder has worked closely with Global 2000 customers, helping them simplify
and streamline the deployment and management of their large-scale, complex networks. Peder is the creator
and guiding architect behind the company’s CS-2000™ Network Applications Server and RAVE™, CloudShield's
unique and powerful packet processing development language.
Previously as CTO of yesmail.com, Peder helped guide the company to a successful IPO and subsequent acquisition by
CMGI. Earlier positions included: CTO of SVIC, Managing Partner and CIO of Internet-technology consulting firm Remington Associates, Ltd., and
VP of Production and Engineering for groundbreaking consumer CD-ROM developer TerraGlyph Interactive Studios.
Also noteworthy are his positions at Sterling Commerce, developing SNA and TCP/IP bulk data transfer applications,
and at AT&T Global Information Systems/NCR, where he led the group's Technology and Professional Services efforts on behalf of J.C. Penney.
Peder attended Clarkson University for electrical and computer engineering and received a bachelor of arts degree from
Beloit College in mathematics and computer science.

Todd Beine
Vice President of Product Management
Todd Beine brings more than 18 years of experience in technical product development to CloudShield,
having held management roles in both Product Management and Engineering. He came to
CloudShield from Ciena Communications—a high-speed network solutions company
—where he managed the metro optical transport, network management, and network planning
and design product lines. Prior to Ciena, Todd led product management for ONI Systems, an
optical networking startup that was acquired by Ciena in 2002. Todd began his
career at Nortel Networks, where he spent 12 years in a variety of development engineering and
engineering management positions across Nortel's telecom product lines.
Todd holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and an MS degree in Computer
Engineering from North Carolina State University.

Randy Brumfield
Vice President of Business Development
Randy has more than 15 years of experience in the networking industry at successful companies both large and small. Randy
came to CloudShield from TPG Ventures where, as a Venture Partner, he focused on finding and funding companies poised to take advantage of
creating disruptive solutions while leveraging significant performance increases and better cost structures offered by commercial silicon.
Prior to TPG Ventures, Randy was VP of Marketing for softswitch pioneer TransMedia which was subsequently sold to Cisco Systems. Randy was then Cisco's
Director of Carrier Voice Products. Prior to that, he was at ATM Access products provider OnStream Networks OnStream Networks was acquired by 3Com Corporation. Randy held the role of
Director, Product Marketing & Planning for the Broadband Access Division while at 3Com.
Additionally, Randy served in a variety of marketing and technical roles at ADC Kentrox, Larscom, ITT and the US Air Force.

Steven Elston
Vice President of Commercial Sales
Steven Elston brings a 23-year history of networking industry success in acquiring customers,
driving revenue growth, and operational leadership to his role as CloudShield’s Vice President
of Worldwide Carrier Sales. Most recently, Steven was VP of Worldwide Sales at PacketMotion,
where he led all customer- facing activities and secured strategic customer wins, such as ADP,
Bechtel, Wells Fargo Bank, Port of Seattle and King Pharmaceutical. Prior to PacketMotion,
Steven was VP of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at IP Dynamics, a global leader in software-based VPN
solutions. Steven's knowledge and background derives from senior management positions he has held at
3Comm, Crescendo Networks, and Digital Island / Cable & Wireless.
Steven earned his BS degree in telecommunications policy and law from the University of San Francisco.

Bruce Gilley
Vice President, Federal Solutions
Bruce brings more than 30 years of federal, DoD and intelligence program development and
management experience to CloudShield. Bruce was most recently General Manager and Senior
Vice President of the Intelligence Systems Business Unit for L-3 Communications - Titan
Group where he led the capture and execution of programs focused on intelligence, information
operations and C4ISR capabilities for DoD and Intelligence Community customers. Prior to
coming to industry, Bruce served 21 years with the US Navy, focused on developing and fielding
intelligence and information warfare capabilities, implementing system upgrades, testing,
and maintenance solutions to improve Navy IT solutions.
Bruce received a BS in Computer Science from Old Dominion University and an MS in Information Systems from Naval Postgraduate School.

Timothy Laehy
Chief Financial Officer
Tim is a seasoned finance executive with experience across a broad range of companies. Prior to joining CloudShield
Mr. Laehy was Chief Financial Officer of MetroFi, Inc. Mr. Laehy also served as Chief Financial Officer of Collation Inc.
which was acquired by IBM in 2005. Prior to Collation, Mr. Laehy was founding Chief Financial Officer of Covad Communications
Group Inc. Additionally; Mr. Laehy served as Vice President, Corporate Finance and Treasurer of Leasing Solutions, Inc, as
well as serving in multiple senior finance roles with Recovery Equity Partners, Guarantee Acceptance Capital Corporation,
Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, and Union Carbide Corporation. Mr. Laehy received a BS and MBA from SUNY Buffalo.

Ken McKeithan
Vice President of Engineering
Ken has more than 25 years of experience leading large scale development projects for successful commercial companies and government integrators.
Ken joins CloudShield after most recently serving as Vice President of Software at Atheros Communications, a leading provider of Wireless solutions
to major OEM/ODM and companies such as Lenovo, Toshiba, HP, and Apple. Ken lead architecture and software strategy for the 11N product line
successfully addressing major notebook and router markets.
Prior to Atheros Communication, Ken served in executive leadership roles at Amdahl, Veritas, and Allocity (acquired by EMC), where his
responsibilities included product development, customer support and channel relationships.

Al Sadler
Vice President of Operations
Al Sadler is a career operations executive with over 30 years experience with both emerging and Fortune 500 technology leaders.
He has successfully built manufacturing operations from the ground up as well as taking established organizations to successively
higher levels. Al's most recent positions include Vice President of Operations at OpVista Inc., COO at Trapeze Networks and Alidian
Networks and Vice President of Operations at Assured Access Technologies (Alcatel). Previously, Al held executive positions at Memorex,
Mountain Computer, Verbatim (Kodak), Alantec Networks and Polaroid.
