Sr. Manufacturing Hardware & Software Test Engineer (#8116)

Key Responsibilities:
- This position requires a strong technical expertise with an exceptional combination of strategic vision and hands on skills to develop, implement manage and maintain test automation solutions.
- The candidate will work with a cross functional team utilizing embedded Linux programming skills to create CLI scripts used by automated test equipment. Your work will be used by contract manufacturers to perform functional tests on production assemblies. Other "customers" include technicians repairing customer units and field engineers diagnosing and resolving obstacles customer encounter.
- You will work with other members of the technical staff to integrate your product into functional testers to increase test coverage.
- Some travel 1-2 weeks per qtr. may be required to support production @ a US East Coast or foreign contract manufacturer.
Required Skills (3 of top 5 minimum)
- Knowledge of embedded processor bus structures
- Proven embedded Linux developer skills
- Knowledge of Sonet or Fast Ethernet (GigE) standards a plus
- Experience in developing CLI
- Experience with C/C++
Nice to Have:
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Minimum 5 years experience or equivalent
