- Q: I need a valid product serial number to register on this site, but my CS-2000s are stacked up in a 19" rack and I cannot see the Serial Number label on the top. Can I get the serial number through the Windows Management Interface (WMI)?
A: Yes. After logging in via the WMI click on "Hardware" tab. Node information will be displayed on the landing page including the systems Serial Number (see the table below) or Click HERE for the an image of where our serial numbers are located on the CS-2000 Components.

- Q: If I do not have a support contract, can I get technical support from CloudShield?
A: Yes. CloudShield offers Ad Hoc technical telephone and email support. Here are the details:
Phone Support (5x8) Services: Phone support is available for an hourly fee during business hours (9-5 PST), Monday through Friday, excluding US holidays. A minimum charge per call may apply.
On Site Customer support Services: On site support is available for a daily fee covering site time and travel time. Travel and Living Expenses are billed separately. A minimum charge per visit may apply.
- Q: How can I access the Document Library from this site?
A: All registered users have access to the Support Documentation directory on the FTP server.
- Q: I've logged into the CloudShield Customer Support Center, but when I go to Software I am not able to see nor download available software.
A: Access to software downloads is governed by the CloudShield products you have registered on this site. Click the Open FTP link on the left panel to access the FTP service. You will be able to download files you have been given permission to get access to.
- Q: I am not covered by one of the available extended warranty programs, but I am interested in speaking with someone at Cloudshield about it, or getting a quote, who do I contact at Cloudshield?
A: Contact your CloudShield sales representative and they will explain the support program options, and can provide you with a quote for one or all of the available programs.
